The next Madame Tussauds wax museum will soon melt art fanatics in the United States of America. Scheduled to open in October, the main attraction of the museum will be a wax figure of the 16th President Abraham Lincoln.
This museum will be located in the former Woodward & Lothrop department store, a Washington landmark located down the street from the historic theater where Lincoln was fatally shot.
Approximately $20 or $25 will be charged in Washington but the exact amount is yet to be decided by Tussauds.
Admission to Madame Tussauds in New York costs $29. It is said that each wax figure costs about $125,000 and gets ready in three months. The Lincoln figure has been designated as the official greeter at the Washington museum.
