
Garden in Transit, a largest public art project, will be displayed on New York City’s yellow taxicabs in the fall of this year beginning in September.

It is privately-funded project that will celebrate the 100th anniversary of New York’s first motorized taxi as part of TAXI ‘07.

The Project is created, organized and funded by a non-profit organization, Portraits of Hope, which will use the artistic talents of kids in the pediatrics department at America’s oldest hospital, Bellevue.

Portraits of Hope works to brighten and enrich the lives of children and adults through their participation in creative, high-profile projects encouraging self-esteem and accomplishment, hope and pride.
