Mill Ends Park: The Smallest Park in the World!

If unusual and unique places around the world make you go hum, then you just can’t miss the world’s smallest park in Portland. Named Mill Ends Park, it’s a 24 inch circular park that is just 2 feet in diameter and a much-beloved city landmark. The park was created on St. Patrick’s Day, 1948 and since that time, many curious contributions have been made to the park. The park has flying saucers, miniature Ferris wheels, statues and a tiny swimming pool. The park is so small that you just can’t stroll, believe me, just take one step and you’re out of the park.
