It was an unusual sight for the pedestrians on the busy streets of Nuremberg, as an American tourist strolled the streets in all his natural charm when he decided to beat the heat by taking off his clothes.

After recieving complaints from pedestrians, the police stopped this 41-year-old who was carrying his clothes in a bag. A spokesman for police in the southern city of Nuremberg said:

We have been having unusually hot weather here lately but, all the same, we can’t have this. The man said he thought walking around naked was tolerated in Germany.

The police clarified that the tourist was not under the influence of drugs, and he was allowed to go away after they made him get dressed and pay a 200 euro ($269) deposit. The tourist also attracts an investigation for indecent behavior.

By the way, it is totally legal to enjoy nude sunbathing in public parks in Germany.
