Think what would be your instant reaction if someone offers you a large sum just to party! The obvious reaction would be, yes. But we people are not lucky enough like the world-famous celebrities(Paris Hilton and Britney Spears). Often celebrities make appearances and walk the red carpet as part of the deal for coming to a nightclub receiving all sorts of goodies and a big paycheck.
For nightclub operators, it has become the standard way of getting their establishments known. Clubs and casinos are building relationships with the celebrities to add buzz and they are willing to pay the celebrities thousands of dollars.
The operators of the famous night-clubs like PURE refute that that they pay huge sum to the celebrities for their presence in their club parties. The recent example is Luxor’s LAX nightclub grand-opening party hosted by Britney Spears. Her presence added buzz to Las Vegas making it sizzling place and she was given a big paycheck. The club owner is expecting good revenue this year.
I personally believe there’s nothing wrong in giving big bucks to these world-famous celebrities, if their only presence can add buzz to the nightclubs and help getting good revenue.
