Do you live for music, lights, gorgeous women and casinos? If you are craving for all these, then Las Vegas is the place to be.The sin city is always basked in sunlight and provides a blanket of warmth to the visitors. In the city of never ending gambling, a week feels like a year.
For one visitor - Oliver Duff, flying to Vegas from Sussex was quite an experience. According to him, the ‘gambling capital’ of America is actually a regulated vice than anything else. Booze, drugs and random sex are always there for those who want them. I think for most Americans and people worldwide , it’s always a dream to swing by Las Vegas.
From the Voodoo Lounge on the 51st floor, a superb view of the strip welcomes the visitors. Here the bartender might serve you an absinthe cocktail in a giant bowl sized glass. During the day, Vegas does get some action. Instead of chilling by the pool, most people decide to give the MGM Grand card tables a shot. It might be your lucky day! Be advised that mercury rises like crazy during the day.
The MGM Grand does remind me of the movie: Ocean’s Twelve with George Clooney in it. This is after all the world’s largest hotel building with 5,044 rooms.
A volcano erupts right outside the Mirage while white tigers roam about inside the casino! Trapeze, pirates in bikinis, the Bellagio fountains create a very laid back tourist atmosphere. Here you might run into celebs like soccer stars and actors.

The casino and the bars as well as the strip clubs can only be fun for so long. Once you are sober, you don’t enjoy them a whole lot. With Vegas being in Nevada, there are a few other options for sober people. These options include a visit to the Grand Canyon, or checking out the native Hualapai Skywalk. If you have four hundred dollars still remaining in your pocket after all this, try a chopper ride over the Canyon or close to it.
Before all this, make sure you do buy a non negotiable return ticket to wherever you are from. Otherwise as Mr.Duff says you might get stuck in Las Vegas driving cabs rest of your life.
